About Us

It is a little known fact that there have been different merchants working together since the 1980s and we remain incredibly grateful to their concerted efforts for formally establishing a group of merchants who genuinely care about the businesses and residents in Old Bellevue.

In its most recent form, the Old Bellevue Merchants Association has been working for the local businesses and residents here since 2012.

Capitalizing on the inspiration from our pioneers, we now have an active board that meets once a month to strategize, plan and prepare for future events and services. They are voted in by members annually, each July.  Please get in touch if you are interested in attending meetings or participating in the board and its committees.

Our current board has established strong, productive links with both the City of Bellevue, Bellevue Downtown Network and Visit Bellevue and their representatives attend our monthly meetings.

The OBMA also work closely with our neighbouring businesses and non-profit organizations as we are keen to help them grow. We relish the opportunity to support new businesses flourish and become part of our community.

If you would like to attend one of our meetings, either as a merchant, a resident or guest, please contact us.
