Every year, at our Annual General Meeting in June, members elect a Board of Directors to serve for the coming 12 months in accordance with our bylaws. The newly elected board then meets in July to elect its executive officers and serves until the end of June the following year.
This year, our volunteer board is comprised of passionate residents, merchants, business owners, and property owners, many of whom live and work in Bellevue.
Our board normally meets on the first Thursday of the month.
The board also leads monthly general meetings, which are open to our members and the general public; these are currently held on the third Thursday of every month.
If you are not yet a member and would like to present information at one of our monthly general meetings, please contact the board. Requests are reviewed at the board’s monthly meeting before being scheduled for presentation at a future general meeting.
To contact our board, please email oldbellevuemerchants@gmail.com.

2025 marked an important milestone for the OBMA. Through grant funding and community partnerships, we were able to engage our first part-time Executive Director.
Anthony Mackay, a former OBMA President, transitioned into the role to provide continuity, professional leadership, and dedicated support for the organization’s growing programs, partnerships, and initiatives.
In 2026, we were fortunate to expand our staffing capacity further. Terri Young, our former Secretary, longstanding volunteer leader and the driving force behind our highly successful Wine Walk program, joined the organization in a part-time operational role following her retirement from full-time employment.
Together, Anthony and Terri provide professional support to our volunteer board, helping deliver community events, member services, beautification projects, fundraising activities, and new initiatives that strengthen Old Bellevue for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
We are grateful for their dedication and look forward to continuing to strengthen Old Bellevue through community events, beautification projects, local partnerships, and initiatives that benefit everyone who lives, works, and visits here.
